hello days go by,
kinda new here.
is there a way to find out, out of 360K case overall, how many are EB1, EB2 or EB3? Or how many files in year 01, 02, and 03?
overheard most are EB2/3 cases and not many 245i cases.
One thing for sure is that no file in BEC is EB1. The rest is all guess:
If the historic information can tell the present and future, then roughly for every 2 - 3 EB3, there is one EB2...
The trackers at immigrationportal show not many 01 files left, and there're still quite some 02 and a lot of 03 in both BECs. DBEC tends to process a lot of 04/05 cases recently in LIFO manner, whereas PBEC is a bit more FIFO recently barring some cases that came out of regionals..

I joined IV in the 3rd week of July 2007 when I was randomly searching for information. I did my first one time contribution right on the day the great news was released on 17th July. I have started my $50 monthly starting August 2007.
I would like to mention, what made me believe that IV Core was doing a great job and that it was worth contributing was that IV Core took a lot of risk(credibility) and posted critical news well before it came on any other website. It was like; they had all the scoop before it hit mainstream lawyers or AILA websites sometimes even before it came on USCIS official website (FAQ 3)!
This shows that IV Core has got a lot stronger and they indeed are in close contact with USCIS and that with the enough funds and enough support they will surely make things happen!

like they open slots for a month ...Like for the month of march do they open dates in Feb last week and we can make apts only for March something like that.

Hi,
I am working in US on L1 and my company would start my green card filling in next few months.
I also have valid H1B pettion stamped and can switch to H1B which would mean that I can work freely here at US.
But many of my friends told me that green card processing is faster on L1.
I am not able to make decision whether I should continue working on L1 or change my status to H1 to get better hike and more opportunity.
Pls can anyone tell me which would be wise choice. Is green card processing for L1 visa is faster?

H1b does not exactly make one work "freely" in the US. Certainly not, if the employer is processing your GC as you are pretty much stuck with him.
Only L-1A allows faster GC processing as it does not require Labor and PDs are usually current. L-1B has no such short-cuts and is also plagued by the problem that it is valid only for 5 years. So if you cannot get into a 485 stage within those 5 years, then you are in trouble. On the other hand, a H-1b can be extended indefinitely once you cross a certain point in your GC processing.
So evaluate your options.

Since they came to your work location, can you not contact your HR/ Payroll dept and get the payroll journal?
How can they come to your desk randonmly and ask for pay stubs? Nobody carries paystubs to work everyday.Are these raids authorized by USCIS. Is there a memo that mentions this from USCIS.

well, USCIS issues EADs based on filed appeals/MTRs, so H1B is not the only solution.
browncow, thats what I heard from IO in info pass that we can file EAD when appeal/MTR is pending with uscis and I485 is in denied status. Do you know that any has got EAD based on the above scenario?

Not my usual thing, this is a first attempt at studio shooting. A friend is starting a preseved flower business and needs some photos to get started. My backdrops consisted of some fabric purchased at the local store, my dining table, and a PVC frame and welding clips to hold them up. :) Any comments/critique welcome.

Hey, I would like to help you but I know next to nothing about J-1 Physician waivers. It is a completely different system. My understanding that the best way to get a waiver is to go through the Conrad 30 program if your wife works in a hospital in an underserved area. I would encourage you look through this forum for individuals who would know more about the process. Likewise, I would also suggest that you consult with an attorney. I used one of the best attorney firms in the world and it was relatively inexpensive. Attorneys really do wonders in these cases bacause they understand this process inside and out and know exactly what the Department of State is looking for.

Thanks folks for all the replies. I got to know finally that the employer can setup the LC to provide for any relocation. It looks like my employer usually does that so that the employees does not loose out in a relocation scenario.

I sent in form G-325 for both me and my wife along with my I-485 instead of the G-325A as required on I-485 instructions by oversight. What do you guys recommend I do? Should I send in a new application or just send in the G-325A form with a letter stating the issue? Please help.
Yes, it's definitely a issue. Talk to your lawyer immediately.
Even though the form looks similar, G-325A requires 4 copies where G-325 has only 2 copies. I was almost about to make the same mistake.

I can't think of any issue - as long as you have all the papers, seems fairly straight forward and routine to me.
Sorry for little confusion.
What I mean was,
- I filed I-485 for me and my wife
- then after 180 days I switched to a new company with H1B transfer.
- So, I am still in H1B status.
- But my wife (secondary applicant) is using EAD based on I-485 and working.
Which means we used AC21 for portability of our I-140 and I-485 cases.
Now, we are planning to travel home to India. My wife need to use AP and I will still be using H1B visa.
So, my question was, whether there will be issue at Port of Entry when primary applicant(which is me) is still in H1B visa with pending I-485 and my wife is using EAD with AP?
