The way i understand this, not all companies are bound by the EOE laws.
Certain conditions have to be met to be considered an EOE.
Not every employer is an equal opp employer, so those guys can hire whoever they want.
Besides hiring folks on h1b, etc could add to costs for employers. So they choose not to employ such folks.

Today my attorney received all 6 receipts.
Case filed (485): NE (140 approved from TSC)
Filed date: Jul 25, Received jul 26
LUD on approved 140 - aug 5 & aug 12
Receipt date Sept 17th for 485, 131, 765
Online status: EAD -card production ordered on Sept 24th.
Good luck to everyone. Looks like TSC is moving.

Do you see anywhere in INA mentioning that "EB-dependents should NOT be filed in EB-category". How is it a "mis-interpretation" then?

BTW, for that poster who was imagining a single line, open your eyes buddy. There are indeed two lines. Higher qualifications gets you into the shorter one. You can fret and whine all you want but you cant change the fact.
Porting PDs is a silly concept as others have pointed it out here. Its the law for now but wont be for long. Get over it.

Any lobbying for immigration is tough at the time of recession. I think you are trying to do advocacy effort. Without getting approval from core IV group it will not be any use as advocacy effort only will not work. Senators will note your concerns and will act only if some bill is introduced. You need lobbying with advocacy effort for changing any law. Lobbyists will lobby only at right time as if they do in wrong time it will backfire.
This is what puzzles me, on one hand you tell us 'You couldn't even begin to imagine how many cases like this there are'....

Does anyone, who has PD getting current (under EB2- I/C) during Aug/Sept. got their EAD Renewed, and cards received. ?? If so, what's your EAD-Renewal Appln Date / RD and Cards Received Date.
I suspect, USCIS is NOT issuing EAD Renewals, to probable Current PD holders, any more. :D hopefully. This is a good Sign, if true. Does anybody agree with me.. Let's Party out. :)
This is becuase, my EAD Renewal Appln. RD is June 18th.. and till date I have NO LUD of whatsoever, and PD would be current during Aug.bullentin

My attorney actually filed directly with TSC. So all my case numbers starts with SRC.
